SILLEM supports its customers with dedicated consulting and technical training programs focused on managing and optimizing industrial polishing and finishing processes
Metal polishing and finishing are complex processes where every variable directly impacts the final result. Consumables, working pressures, contact times, operating speeds, and correct machine programming must work in perfect balance to guarantee a consistent, uniform, and reproducible finish over time.
Finding the most suitable configuration is not always straightforward. Every material, geometry, and production goal requires specific evaluations and an in-depth understanding of the process.
Thanks to the experience gained in designing, installing, and commissioning systems across numerous industrial sectors, we support operators, technicians, and production managers in identifying the best operating configurations to achieve the required results.
Training activities are developed based on the customer’s actual production needs and are structured into three levels of specialization.
Course 1
Process principles
A theoretical program dedicated to the fundamental principles of industrial polishing
The course covers all the main aspects of the process: identifying defects, choosing consumables, understanding tools, working parameters and machine programming principles.
Course 2
Operational application
This program integrates theoretical training with hands-on activities directly on the customer’s equipment.
Individual working units are tested on standard samples to develop optimized working programs and reproducible configurations, which can also serve as an operational reference for the future applications.
Course 3
Process optimization
A program dedicated to the comprehensive optimization of the production process.
By analyzind the machining phases, SILLEM supports the customer in redefining the polishing and finishing process, identifying the most suitable consumables and precisely programming the machines.
The objective is not simply to teach how a machine works but to transfer applied konw-how and technical skills capable of tangibly improving quality, production continuity and process efficiency.
